Delta Thailand Pursues SEEd : Social Empowerment through Education Program

18-24 February 2016, Delta Electronics (Thailand) Public Company Limited proceeds it SEEd : Social Empowerment through Education Program to enhance strong society through education by collaborating with Bangpoo Industrial Estate to run “Delta Open House for Energy Sharing” "Delta Open House for Energy Education Sharing” is one of the company's educational scheme to share our expertise in energy management and develop juvenile's common sense of energy management by utilizing our products, systems and solutions which are continuously developed to enhance energy optimization in both local and national level. In addition, the project aims to inspire participated juveniles' interest in engineering works and develop themselves to be Thailand's future technological personnels. The target group of this project is students from local primary schools near Bangpoo Industry Estate whom most of them are Delta employee's children. Delta Thailand expands its energy education projects by organizing “Energy Saving Drawing Activity per SEEd : Social Empowerment through Education Program" which encourage those students joining Delta's site visit to illustrate their understanding of energy management through drawings. Finally, the winner and runner ups from 96 submissions from 900 students of 6 schools has judged by the panels and award ceremony at Delta Thailand's headquarter presided by Mr. Hsieh Shen-yen, President and Mr. Prateep Engchuan, Director of the Bangpoo Industrial Estate Authorization of Thailand.

Delta Electronics Conducts Energy Education Project in Schools

Delta Electronics (Thailand) PCL. volunteers, led by Dr. Anusorn Muttaraid, Executive Director officially opened the Energy Management Learning Center in Wat Khlong Kao School on August 2, 2017. The Delta sponsored learning center was part of the DEEP, Delta Energy Education Program initiative. During the opening ceremony, Mr. Montri Pewchum, Principal of the school, received the DEEP teaching material as a symbolic gesture from Dr. Anusorn. Delta started the DEEP program since 2016 as part of its CSR activities and efforts in fulfilling its mission statement, “To provide innovative, clean and energy-efficient solutions for a better tomorrow”. The program aims to equip students with practical energy conservation knowledge so that they can become effective energy and environmental conservation advocates. Specially trained Delta volunteers conducted lessons and fun workshops to ensure no dull moment in class. The wide range of topics included how to efficiently make use of depleting natural resources and small daily habits that can contribute to significant energy savings for the country when everyone shares the same awareness and put their knowledge to action.

Delta Volunteers to Teach Students about Energy Conservation

With our commitment to promote a greener environment, Delta’s volunteers will be sharing our expertise in energy conservation with primary school students in Samutprakarn. More than 30 volunteers from all departments had joined this project. The company invited experienced Taiwanese trainers to conduct two days of training for the volunteers from February 10 to 11, 2016. The trainers are experts in energy conservation training.

The 320 students trained are primary 4 level students from two schools. The volunteers visited Anubarn Prasamutchedi School on June 24 and July 14, 2016 and Wat Klong Kao School on November 2 and 9, 2016. The contents are divided into four chapters and taught with fun activities to ensure the students can understand and remember the contents. Hopefully, they can in turn apply the new knowledge in their daily life and share with their friends and families.
