Lately, job competence and efficiency are indispensable in improving the competitiveness of businesses. Specific competencies such as energy managers and energy auditors are needed in the implementation of energy management system in the building sector and the industrial sector. Based on Law No. 30 Year 2007 concerning Energy and Government Regulation No. 70 Year 2009 on Energy Conservation, it was determined that for energy users that consume energy equivalent TOE 6000 or more are required to implement an energy management system. In 2010, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources has set Competency Standards Sector Energy Managers in Indonesia through the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources No. 13 of 2010 dated July 5, 2010 on the Establishment and Implementation of Practice Standards of Competence Manager of Energy for Industrial Field. No. 14 of 2010 dated July 5, 2010 on the Establishment and Implementation of Practice Standards of Competence Manager for the Energy Sector Building.
Then developed into a Scope sectoral national scope through the Minister of Manpower and Transmigration:
- No. 321 / MEN / XII / 2011 dated December 29, 2011 regarding the Stipulation of Draft Work Competence Standards nasioanl (SKKNI) Sector Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services Other Services Sub-Sector Energy Conservation Industry Sector Energy Management subfields
- NO.KEP.614 / MEN / IX / 2012 dated 27 September 2012 regarding the Stipulation of Draft National Competence (SKKNI) Sector Professional, Scientific and Technical Services Other Services Sub-Sector Energy Conservation Field Industrial Energy Auditor sub-areas and sub areas of Buildings
To support the above mentioned regulation, in order to increase the competence fields of energy conservation, the agency is a Professional Certification Experts Energy Conservation Association (LSP-hake) has got License BNSP No.KEP.098 / MEN / IV / 2012 dated 27 September 2013 as the Institute for Competency Test Energy auditor.
LSP HAKE until now has been carrying a competency test field Energy Manager who reserved to the perpetrator (Manager), which directly address the energy management system in the field of building and industrial fields, as many as 59 people have been declared competent than 70 participants competency test.
