This report focuses on energy performance evaluation methodologies and experiences of five economies in APEC (Canada, China, Japan, Singapore, and the US), and includes a proposed evaluation methodology for industrial enterprises. A case study of a cement plant is provided to illustrate the relevant implementation and harmonization recommendations of the proposed methodology. The report aims to create a sound foundation to integrate current energy performance evaluation methodologies, facilitate internal coordination, and promote implementation of energy management systems in the APEC region.
